ABOUT PROJECT
Project Shaffaf/shafafiyat
The project aims to improve resistance against information and psychological operations of foreign state actors in the Global South. The information environments of the region are subject to operations of influence that negatively impact state security. One crucial element of the project is to build resistance to such threats, laying the foundations for systemic security solutions for information environments existing locally.
The Szaffaf project is a part of the ALBATROS project, which aims to actively counteract disinformation propagated by the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in Poland and abroad. This project is aimed at identifying and counteracting the phenomena of disinformation and propaganda campaigns.
OUR MISSION

is, among other things, a security assessment of the information environments in Iraq and Kurdistan. One of the tasks of the Szaffaf project is to reveal the true actions and intentions behind the operations of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the Global South, with a particular focus on Iraq, including the Kurdistan region.
